TASS reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the Minsk Forum of the Eurasian Economic Union remotely, in an online format. Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov announced this.
All leaders of the EAEU member states (Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan), except the Armenian Prime Minister, have confirmed their presence at the event. Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez is expected to pay an official visit to Belarus during the forum. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has also confirmed his participation. Earlier, it was reported that the Iranian President was planning a visit.
"We still have hope for the official visit of the Iranian President. Although we understand the situation in the region, we want a speedy settlement and peace on this land. But for now, the visit of this delegation is planned," Ryzhenkov said. The Belarusian Foreign Minister noted that more than 2,000 participants from 29 countries have registered for the Eurasian Economic Forum.
The Eurasian Economic Forum will be held on June 26 in Minsk at the BelExpo International Exhibition Center.
