Russian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation.
According to Azerbaijani media, the Azerbaijani and Russian foreign ministers discussed the current security situation in the context of the Israeli-Iranian confrontation and issues of bilateral and regional cooperation between the two countries.
It is noted that during the telephone conversation, Lavrov expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leadership and all relevant structures for assisting in the evacuation of Russian citizens, including artists, from Iran.
