US President Donald Trump has said that his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, was wrong when he told the American leader to leave the G7 summit in Canada to work on a ceasefire in the Middle East.
“President Macron, who seeks publicity, mistakenly reported that I left the G7 summit to return to Washington to work on a ‘ceasefire’ between Israel and Iran.
Wrong. He has no idea why I am going to Washington. It has absolutely nothing to do with a ceasefire. It is something much more serious,” he wrote.
