According to preliminary data, 14 people have been killed and 40 injured in Kyiv as a result of Russian drone and missile strikes.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 30 of the 40 injured citizens were hospitalized.
The mayor confirmed that a 62-year-old US citizen died in the attack, but, according to him, a direct connection between this death and the attack has not been clarified. Earlier, Klitschko reported that the man died in the house in front of which a Shahed drone fell.
He also confirmed earlier reports that the entrance to an apartment building had collapsed entirely due to one of the strikes.
“Rescuers are working there to clear the rubble,” Klitschko wrote.
