The presidents of Turkey and Iran had a telephone conversation.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Masoud Pezeshkian discussed the conflict between Israel and Iran and regional and global issues.
Erdogan noted that he had talked with several leaders about the Israel-Iran conflict. He stressed that Turkey is ready to assume the role of mediator to end the conflict and return to nuclear negotiations immediately.
Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey's commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region.
