Iran is considering closing the Strait of Hormuz

Iran is considering closing the Strait of Hormuz after the Israeli attacks, Iranian MP Esmail Kosari, a member of the parliamentary security committee, said.

The Hormuz Strait between Oman and Iran is the world's most important oil shipping route. Up to 30% of the world's liquefied natural gas and up to 20% of global exports of oil and petroleum products pass through the strait.
