Abdolrahim Mousavi has been appointed Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, and Mohammad Pakpour has been appointed Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The state television and radio company IRIB reported this, citing orders from Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Pakpour replaced Hossein Salami, and Rahim Mousavi replaced Mohammad Bagheri. He has been appointed Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, and Mohammad Pakpour has been appointed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander.
