Remains of over 1,200 soldiers returned to Ukraine

The Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for Prisoners of War reported that as a result of the repatriation measures, the remains of 1,212 service members were returned to Ukraine.

Among them are soldiers who died in the Kursk region of Russia, as well as in many areas of Ukraine (Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson).

Earlier, the sides had agreed to transfer about 6,000 service members' bodies to each other. At the same time, Moscow accused Kyiv of delaying the process.
