Russia has struck Kyiv and Odessa

Russia launched drone strikes on Kyiv and Odesa early Tuesday. Reuters reports that the strikes killed one person and damaged several buildings, including a maternity hospital in the southern port of Odesa.

At least four people were hospitalized after hours-long attacks on seven of Kyiv’s 10 districts, city officials said.

“Ukrainians cannot be broken by terrorism,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, wrote on Telegram after the attacks.

“It was a difficult night for all of us,” Timur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv military district, wrote on Telegram. “All night long, the enemy mercilessly terrorized Kyiv with strike drones. They targeted civilian infrastructure and civilians in the city.”
