Putin is preparing an attack on the Baltic states

Moscow could carry out a provocation in the Baltic states under the guise of “protecting the Russian-speaking population,” similar to the Kremlin’s 2014 annexation of Crimea, said Bruno Kahl, the head of Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service, who is preparing to leave his post.

He said he was not talking about a large-scale missile and artillery invasion. “It would be enough for Russia to send ‘green men’ to Estonia, supposedly to protect the Russian-speaking minority.”

He said that in this way, President Putin would try to test NATO’s resolve to protect its allies.
