Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), expressed the opinion that the conclusion of the Tehran nuclear agreement between the United States and Iran will have an immediate positive impact on the peace process in the Middle East.
"I am convinced that the only way forward is a diplomatic solution, backed by the IAEA verification mechanism. I will continue to support and call on the United States and Iran to spare no effort, show wisdom, and political courage to bring the matter to a successful conclusion. Stabilizing the situation in Iran regarding its nuclear program will have an immediate impact and will bring the Middle East one big step closer to peace and prosperity," Grossi was quoted as saying by the IAEA press service.
