According to the Franceinfo radio station, the French automobile concern Renault intends to start producing unmanned aerial vehicles in Ukraine for the Ukrainian and French armed forces. The company will produce weapons in cooperation with a small and medium-sized French enterprise specializing in the defense sector.
French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced that a French automaker will jointly produce uncrewed aerial vehicles in Ukraine with other companies. The minister noted that Ukrainian specialists will work at the enterprise.
Renault confirmed that the French Defense Ministry had contacted the automobile concern about the possibility of producing uncrewed aerial vehicles.
