US President Donald Trump wrote on his social media page that Elon Musk has gone crazy.
“I asked him to leave; I canceled his ‘Electric Car Mandate,’ which forced everyone to buy electric cars that no one wanted (and he knew about my move months ago). He has gone crazy,” the US president wrote.
Trump added that the easiest way to save billions of dollars in the budget is to end Elon’s government subsidies and contracts and expressed surprise why Biden has not done so.
Elon Musk laughed at Trump’s post: “Please do it and brighten my day.”
