The New York Times writes that US President Donald Trump is irritated with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Trump has a particular animosity towards Zelensky. Trump has repeatedly told his aides that Zelensky is a bad guy who is pushing the world towards nuclear war,” the newspaper writes.
The newspaper adds that Trump treats Putin extensively, “although he sometimes expresses disappointment.”
The NYT also reports that the US president has considered imposing sanctions against Russia but has so far refrained from doing so.
