"Our goal is to open a new chapter in historical relations with Lebanon." Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met and held talks with senior Lebanese officials on Tuesday.
The minister wrote about this on his “X” page and discussed the current relations with Lebanon.
“In my meetings with the President, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Prime Minister, and the Foreign Minister, I declared Iran’s firm support for Lebanon’s independence and national sovereignty, the territorial integrity of this country, and the reconstruction process. Our goal and hope is to open a new chapter in the historical relations between the two countries, a relationship based on mutual respect and common interests,” Araghchi wrote.
