Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced in his opening remarks at the talks in Istanbul that a possible meeting of the leaders of the two countries is one of the topics of the talks between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations.
He said the ceasefire and prisoner exchange conditions will be discussed during the second round of talks.
“Today, in this meeting, we will assess the perspectives and views of both sides on the ceasefire, as well as discuss humanitarian initiatives and preparations for a possible meeting of the leaders,” Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said.
