"I'm not sure the Russians are ready for a productive meeting." Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has outlined the country's priorities for the Istanbul talks.

The president said that Ukraine will insist on a ceasefire, the return of kidnapped children, and the release of prisoners at the Istanbul talks.

"I spoke with the Defense Minister early this morning. I am not sure that the Russians will be ready for productive meetings, but we must always hope for certainty," he said.

The previous talks between Kyiv and Moscow took place on May 16 in Istanbul.
