Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said during a visit to Ukraine that we will either have to disregard the continuation of the war between Russia and Ukraine or we will achieve a lasting peace this year.
"The meetings in Istanbul proved that negotiations can produce concrete results. We are striving to maintain the momentum gained in Istanbul," the Turkish Foreign Minister said.
He also expressed confidence that the negotiations in Istanbul would be concluded during Erdogan, Trump, Putin, and Zelensky's meeting in Turkey.
