Turkey is ready to accept the new round of negotiations. Hürriyet

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan confirmed during talks in Moscow that the republic is ready to accept a new round of peace talks on Ukraine and to provide any support for the settlement of the conflict. The pro-government Turkish newspaper Hürriyet reported this.

Fidan is on a two-day visit to Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. On May 26, he met with Russian Presidential Assistant Vladimir Medinsky, who led the Russian delegation at the talks with Ukraine in Istanbul on May 16. Russian President Vladimir Putin also received Fidan.

Another important topic of the talks, as Hürriyet notes, is the situation in Syria.

“Ankara wants Russia to continue supporting the political and territorial integrity of Syria,” the publication says.
