The relations between France and Armenia are already primarily strategic, given the cooperation that exists, said French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot during a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Mirzoyan.
“In addition, with the Armenian Foreign Minister, we intend to put all this on paper, preparing a strategic partnership, which will simply give a more formal role to the already existing cooperation and will also provide for other programs and projects for the coming decades, including in the defense sector,” the French Foreign Minister noted.
During the press conference, he also noted that France will open a consulate in Goris.
