The Russian military used more than 350 drones in a night attack on Ukraine.
On the night of May 26, Russian forces attacked Ukraine using 355 drones and 9 Kh-101 cruise missiles, the Ukrainian Air Force reported. As of 11:00, air defense forces had shot down all nine Kh-101 cruise missiles and neutralized 288 drones, the Ukrainian military reported.
Ukrainian regional authorities reported that strikes were carried out in Kyiv and the Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Two people were injured in the Zaporizhia region.
Ukrainian media reported that Russia used a record number of long-range drones in a single attack. The previous record was set on the night of May 25, when the Russian armed forces used 298 drones.
