"Moscow is interested in normalizing relations between Yerevan and Baku." Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is in Yerevan, stated that Moscow highly appreciates Pashinyan's participation in the events marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory despite threats from Western officials.

"We attach great importance to our allied relations with Armenia and the deep ties between our peoples. We have created many foundations in all spheres of state relations, which we must use to the fullest and wisely," the Russian Foreign Minister said during an expanded meeting.

According to Lavrov, Russia is ready to do everything to ensure Armenia's defense, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

"We continue to consider the security sphere one of the most critical dimensions of our alliance.

Moscow is also sincerely interested in the full normalization of relations between Yerevan and Baku," he said.
