Iranian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Had a Telephone Conversation

Iranian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Abbas Araghchi and Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation.

During the conversation, Araghchi informed Fidan about the ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States and the meeting with three European countries.

Araghchi stressed that Iran's right to peaceful use of nuclear energy is inviolable. He emphasized that if the other side respects Iran's rights within the nuclear deal framework, Iran is ready for mutually beneficial cooperation in exchange for lifting sanctions.

Hakan Fidan appreciated Iran's diplomatic approach and expressed Turkey's readiness to support the negotiation process.
