The American ABC News reports that Australia has sent Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
According to the newspaper, Australia has begun delivering the first M1A1 Abrams tank from a batch of 49 units intended for Ukraine. The deliveries were delayed because permission from the United States was needed since the tanks were developed there.
Zelensky also thanked Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for the transfer of equipment.
