Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never sought, does not seek, and will not seek to create nuclear weapons.
“We are negotiating because we seek peace, but the proposal for a complete abandonment of all Iranian nuclear facilities is unacceptable to us. Iran has never developed and is not developing nuclear weapons, rejecting such developments for religious reasons.
Nevertheless, nuclear technologies and the achievements of our scientists in the field of peaceful nuclear energy are used in various fields, including the production of medicines and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, ecology, and industry. We will resolutely continue our peaceful nuclear activities,” the Iranian President explained.
