90-day "ceasefire" in US-China "trade war"

As part of a trade deal, the United States and China have agreed to reduce mutual tariffs for 90 days and roll back a number of recently imposed tariffs.

The United States is reducing tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30%.

China is reducing tariffs on American goods from 125% to 10%.

The White House also said both sides will establish a mechanism for further negotiations. The parties' previous talks were held in Geneva on May 10-11.
