The Turkish presidential administration reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation.
Erdogan reportedly informed Putin of Ankara's readiness to host talks on Ukraine.
He also welcomed the Russian president's announcement to resume talks on Ukraine in Istanbul.
