“Recent discussions and communications between the Sultanate of Oman, the United States, and the relevant authorities in Sanaa, Yemen, aimed at de-escalating the situation, have resulted in a ceasefire between both parties. Moving forward, neither side will engage in attacks against the other, including against American ships in the Red Sea and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, thereby ensuring freedom of navigation and the uninterrupted flow of international commercial shipping,” he added.
