The Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The parties discussed further development of Russian-Iranian cooperation based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement.
Special attention was paid to expanding mutually beneficial investment ties, including implementing major joint projects in the transport and energy sectors.
In addition, the presidents exchanged views on international issues, including the negotiations between Tehran and Washington over Iran's nuclear program.
