The EU strongly condemned Russia's decision

The European Union has strongly condemned Russia’s decision to resume regular flights to the Abkhazian capital of Sukhumi. The European External Action Service said that the move was taken without the consent of the Georgian authorities and in the absence of Sukhumi Airport’s registration in the international airport system.

“This is yet another step that undermines Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” the EU said. The Union reiterated its support for Georgia’s territorial integrity.
