"It's worrying": Kallas spoke with the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan

European Union Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas spoke by phone with Indian and Pakistani Foreign Ministers Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday amid heightened tensions between the two countries.
"The escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan is worrying. I call on both countries to exercise restraint and continue dialogue to de-escalate the situation. After the talks, "escalating tensions will not help anyone," Kallas wrote on X Network.
On Wednesday, the EU called on India and Pakistan to exercise restraint and resolve outstanding issues through peaceful dialogue, reiterating the need to "keep the channels of communication open."
