US President's National Security Advisor Mike Waltz has been removed from his post

Fox News reports that US President Donald Trump's national security adviser, Mike Waltz, and other staff members and Waltz's deputy, Alex Wong, have been removed from their posts.

The website notes that Democrats and other politicians have criticized Waltz since March for adding Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg to Signal.

American media reports that he may be replaced in this position by Trump's special envoy, Stephen Witkoff.
