A child was killed in a drone strike in the Samarovsky district of the northern Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported.
“The drone hit a residential building, trapping children under the rubble. Residents pulled one child out on their own, but the girl, born in 2012, unfortunately died on the way to the hospital,” the statement said.
The Russian military did not comment on the strike or the report of the child’s death.
