The South Korean Yonhap agency reported that the DPRK has officially recognized the participation of its troops in the Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine.
Pyongyang announced that the soldiers were sent by Kim Jong-un within the framework of the mutual defense treaty with Moscow. North Korea also confirmed that its military participated in the battles in the Kursk region.
Earlier, Russia, for the first time, officially recognized the presence of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine.
