US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has reiterated that a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia must be signed in the coming days. Otherwise, Washington will withdraw from the negotiation process.
He noted that the US will decide on this issue within a week.
“This has to happen quickly. We cannot spend endless time and resources if there is no result,” the US Secretary of State said on Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” program.
“This week will be crucial. We will have to decide whether we want to continue participating in this process or whether it is time to focus on other issues,” he added.
