US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has written a post about the Armenian Genocide, noting that despite the unspeakable loss, the Armenian people persevered and triumphed.
“Today, we remember the Great Genocide not only with mourning but also with determination.
We honor the past and look forward to working towards lasting peace, prosperity, and security for Armenia and the region,” Rubio’s post on his “X” page reads.
