Russian forces launched massive airstrikes on Kyiv on Sunday to divert attention from ground attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
Zelensky said on his Telegram page that they have stepped up their efforts to make progress, especially in the Pokrovsky sector of the front in the east of the country, but the attacks have been repulsed.
At least twelve people have been killed in an airstrike in Kyiv. It is the most serious attack on the Ukrainian capital this year.
