Zelensky cuts short visit to South Africa

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that he will cut short his visit to South Africa and return to Kyiv after the missile attack carried out by Russia.

“The Ukrainian Foreign Minister will hold all necessary meetings in South Africa to fully inform the country’s political and public leaders about the situation,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

Recall that Russia struck Kyiv with missiles and drones overnight, killing at least eight citizens, wounding more than 70, and destroying buildings. This is the most significant attack on Kyiv this year.
