"There was no need for it." US President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social page about the Russian attack on Kyiv overnight.
"Vladimir, stop. I am unhappy with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. There was no need for it, and the timing was terrible. 5000 soldiers are dying every week. Let's sign a peace agreement," the US president wrote.
