A powerful earthquake struck Istanbul

A second earthquake of magnitude 6.2 has struck Istanbul following a 3.9-magnitude quake off the coast of Silivri. The earthquake lasted for 10 seconds and caused widespread panic in the city. It struck at 1:49 p.m. Yerevan time.

According to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), the tremors were felt throughout the Marmara region.
