It is time to accept Washington’s proposals for a settlement of the war in Ukraine, or the United States will withdraw from the diplomatic process, US Vice President J.D. Vance said on Wednesday.
Vice President J.D. Vance said the United States has made an apparent offer to Russia and Ukraine to move forward with a peace agreement, adding that it is time for them to say “yes” or the United States will withdraw from the process.
At the same time, Vance stressed that Russia and Ukraine would have to make territorial concessions to resolve the conflict and conclude any peace agreement.
“Ukraine and Russia would have to give up some territory each side currently controls. We will withdraw from mediation between Russia and Ukraine if we do not receive a positive response. We have made a clear and fair offer to both the Russians and the Ukrainians,” Vance said.
