According to the authoritative American media outlets CNN, New York Times, and Financial Times, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will not participate in the talks in London aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, which will take place today. According to the newspapers, Kyiv has made it clear that it will reject one of the main points of the Trump administration's proposal to end the conflict - recognition of Russian control over the occupied Crimea.
It is noted that the US will only represent US President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, at the talks.
Sky News reports that after Rubio, a meeting scheduled for the foreign ministers of Britain, France, and Germany in London has also been postponed.
Negotiations will take place between officials. Only Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga will leave Ukraine, where he will meet with his British counterpart, David Lamy.
