“Regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war, I was just in the Oval Office with the president and Steve Witkoff, and they wanted everyone to know that the talks are continuing,” White House press secretary Caroline Levitt said during a regular briefing.
She stressed that the negotiation process is “moving in the right direction” and that Witkoff is preparing for another visit to Moscow.
“Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will travel to Russia again later this week to continue his talks with Vladimir Putin,” the press secretary said.
