Georgia attaches great importance to regional cooperation

"We once again welcome the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia and note that Georgia is ready to make its contribution to strengthening peace and cooperation in the region," Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili said at a joint briefing with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.

According to Maka Bochorishvili, Georgia sincerely wants to contribute to peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

"I am glad that the first meeting of the Foreign Ministries of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan took place in Tbilisi last week. I hope that in this format, we will cooperate for the region's prosperity," he emphasized.

According to the minister, Georgia attaches great importance to regional cooperation, especially implementing projects that better present its role.

"In this regard, cooperation with our partners within the OSCE framework is essential for us, and in this context, I would like to thank you for visiting Georgia and discussing these issues related to regional cooperation," stated Maka Bochorishvili.
