Russian President Vladimir Putin received in the Kremlin Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Abbas Araghchi, who is visiting Moscow, the Kremlin press service reported.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov also participated in the meeting from the Russian side, and from the Iranian side, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to the Russian Federation Kazem Jalali.
Araghchi stated that he discussed the indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington and the Russian-American consultations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I told the Russian President about the current situation and the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, and we held consultations on this. The Russian-American negotiations on Ukraine and other issues were also discussed. Our Russian friends provided the necessary information,” he said.
