The head of government said after the modernization of the TAL oil pipeline that the Czech Republic has become completely independent of Russian oil supplies for the first time in its history.
The country's finance ministry said that after increasing the capacity of the TAL oil pipeline, the Czech Republic now has supplies that do not include Russian oil.
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said that the first significant shipments of non-Russian oil have arrived at oil depots.
