"We would welcome the agreement if it were reached." Pezeshkian

The negotiation process is proceeding as usual, Iranian President Masoud Pazeshkian said, referring to the Iranian-American talks.

"Things in the country are proceeding as usual. Under no circumstances are they being delayed because of these issues. Naturally, we would welcome an agreement if it were reached," he said.

The president also thanked Ayatollah Ali Khamenei for his wise guidance and remarks.

"The negotiations may or may not yield results. We are neither optimistic nor pessimistic about them. Of course, we are skeptical of the other side, but we are confident in our capabilities," the Iranian president said.
