Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced the purpose of his visit to Russia: he will convey a written message from the Supreme Leader of Iran to the Russian president.
Araghchi also spoke about the negotiations with the United States.
“We have heard contradictory positions during this time, and Mr. Wittkoff has spoken about several models so far; the real positions are determined at the negotiating table. If they come with a constructive position, I hope we can start negotiations on a possible agreement,” he said.
According to the Iranian minister, the principle of uranium enrichment cannot be discussed in negotiations with the American side. However, the monitoring mechanism and the level of enrichment are subject to debate.
