White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said China needs to make a trade deal with the United States, and US President Donald Trump has made it clear that he is open to it.
“The ball is in China’s court. Beijing needs to make a deal with the United States; we don’t need to do that. There is no difference between China and any other country, except that they are bigger. China wants what we have. That means they want our money,” Leavitt said at a briefing.
