The US offers Iran to transfer uranium reserves to Russia.

The Guardian article says that the United States, as part of negotiations on a nuclear deal with Iran, has offered Tehran the opportunity to transfer its highly enriched uranium stockpile to a third country, such as Russia.

The issue was discussed during indirect talks in Oman on April 12 and is one of the main obstacles to a possible agreement.

Iran will resist the US proposal to transfer its uranium stockpile to a third country, The Guardian writes.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he would not comment on The Guardian’s information, Interfax reports.
